dc.description | The phenomenon of university dropout in Panama is a complex problem, since it represents 40% of our country, being this one of the highest in our region. It has a multiplicity of factors, that is why in this research article a general review of the causes that motivate this problem of Panamanian society is presented through a review of data and statistical tools that allow us to know these causes and which are the main recommendations that the population itself offers so that this phenomenon can be decreasing in our country, such as: the creation of government policies that allow students from hard-to-reach areas to enter the university system, it can be considered one of the best solutions to reduce this problem. We must also work on flexibility and teaching methodologies that are more attractive to students and aimed at the reality of the country and the world. | en |
